Different ways to prepare Smoked Garlic;

1. Minced – About 3 garlic cloves, roughly chop and add 2 teaspoons of smoked salt. Then use the flat edge of your cook’s knife to grind it into a paste on the chopping board. You can use a mortar and pestle. Use the minced garlic however you like.

2. Sliced – Simply peel and slice the garlic as thin as you can. Use it fresh in any pasta sauces or on pizzas etc. It’s also great fried in a very little olive oil until golden and crisp. Don’t burn it. A little smoked salt rub and it’s great with salads.

3. Roasted – Roast the whole bulb at 180c for 15 to 20 minutes. It may need a little longer, depending on how soft you like the garlic. Roasted Smoked Garlic enhances the taste of many foods such as aioli, garlic butter, pizzas, olive oil-based pastas, with roasted vegetables, smeared on steak and roasted meats or blend it with olive oil for dips with breads.

Those are just three simple ways to prepare the Smoked Garlic.

Just Remember, it’s just raw garlic with a delicate smokey flavour.
